The possibility of rapid immunohistochemical procedure was examined using indirect method in order to apply the immunohistochemistry to intraoperative frozen diagnosis. Reduction of the incubation time was attained without false negative staining by using 4 or 5 times more concentrated primary and secondary antibodies than those used by routine paraffin sections. 0.01 M Imidazol apparently enhanced the DAB-staining. All the procedures could be successfully carried to be useful at the intraoperative frozen diagnosis.
